Vice President, Principal
As Vice President at SpecOps Communications, Mackenzie Mills manages the day-to-day account direction of the firm's consumer, health and wellness, and event programs, as well as many of the B2B and corporate activities. Her responsibilities include overseeing staffing and client services, while driving ideation, message development and campaign implementation that leads to the generation of results. As team leader, Mackenzie recently led the two-month long production and implementation of Freshpair's National Underwear Day event in Times Square, which yielded over 500 million media impressions. She also ran point on Money2020 at the Aria in Las Vegas, which drew media attendance across multiple verticals and markets, and secured over 1 billion media impressions.
Prior to playing an instrumental role in the launch of SpecOps Communications, Mackenzie worked at Lippert-Heilshorn and Associates, Inc. There she provided strategic media counsel to a diverse account base while actively securing top-tier media placements in a wide array of mainstream and vertical based outlets. She launched her career with an internship at 5WPR and supported account teams with research and the authoring of communication materials. During her internship, she actively pitched accounts and secured media placements for clients such as Gurkha Cigars, Kopali Organics, SNAP Interactive, Ladies Who Launch, and Bradley & Montgomery Advertising.
Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Public Relations from Kansas State University.
